Based on Latin dance steps, this incredibly fun exercise class utilizes a range of high, low and moderate intensity songs to gain the benefits of an interval workout. The music is what makes the class unique and is selected from a variety of Latin and world styles– both timeless classics and the latest hits.
Zumba moves are a combination of classic dance steps, current popular moves, and toning/strength exercises. You will be grooving to salsa, samba, cumbia, reggaeton, cha cha cha and much more. This variety of movements burns calories, improves metabolism and cardiovascular fitness, plus develops strength, flexibility and balance–in other words, a healthy body for you.
You do not have to be a dancer to benefit from Zumba or to enjoy the class. The steps are easy to learn for beginners, yet can be modified to be challenging and interesting for those more experienced.
